Family-owned ranch since 1824 in Florence, Walker Ranch is rooted in generations of farming, faith, and community. Owned and operated by James Walker and Rosa Walker, the ranch reflects a deep love for the land and a passion for bringing people together.

As a sixth-generation farmer and rancher, James grew up learning the values of hard work, stewardship, and preserving family traditions. Together, James and Rosa have created more than just a working ranch — they’ve built a welcoming destination where families can gather, traditions can continue, and lifelong memories can be made.

Throughout the year, Walker Ranch hosts a variety of events and experiences that celebrate the spirit of rural North Alabama, including fall festivals, rodeos, seasonal sunflower fields, horseback riding, and family-friendly outdoor events.
