By accessing www.thewalkerranch.com and booking services with Walker Ranch, LLC, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Booking, Pricing, and Deposits All bookings are subject to availability. Pricing and deposit requirements vary by service:

  • Horseback Riding: $75 per rider for a one-hour session. Maximum of two riders per session. There is a strict rider weight limit of 230 lbs.

  • Private Events: $150 per hour (minimum 2-hour rental). A $150 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date. The remaining balance is due upon arrival on the day of the event.

  • Country Venue (Weddings & Large Events): $1,000 for a two-day rental. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date. The remaining balance is due the day before the event.

  • No booking will be deemed complete, nor a date reserved, until the required deposit is received.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Horseback Riding: You must cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment. Cancellations or reschedules within the 24-hour window, as well as no-shows, will not be rescheduled and may incur a cancellation fee. Weather Exception: If weather conditions at the facility prevent the ride, or if Walker Ranch must cancel the ride due to unsafe conditions, no cancellation fee will apply.

  • Events and Venue Rentals: All initial booking deposits ($150 for Private Events, $500 for Country Venue) are strictly non-refundable.

3. Venue Rules and Safety Conduct To ensure the safety of our guests, staff, and animals, the following rules apply to all visitors and event attendees:

  • Supervision: Children must be supervised by an adult at all times and are not permitted to wander the property unattended.

  • Prohibited Items: No alcohol, smoking, or vaping is allowed anywhere on the property. Fireworks are prohibited without prior written authorization. (Candles are permitted).

  • Animals: No outside pets are allowed. Only recognized service animals are permitted.

  • Catering: If food is served at an event, the name of the caterer must be provided at least one week prior. A health department permit is required if utilizing a food truck.

  • Refusal of Service: We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason, who violates these safety guidelines.

4. Decorations, Cleanup, and Property Damage

  • Decorations: To protect our environment and wildlife, glitter, confetti, rice, and birdseed are strictly prohibited. You may not attach decorations using nails, screws, or staples. Placing tables, tents, or other large equipment requires prior venue approval.

  • Cleanup: Guests are responsible for gathering all waste and placing it in designated trash and recycling bins. The space must be returned to its original, clean condition by the agreed-upon end time, at which point all guests must vacate the premises.

  • Damages & Fees: Failure to clean up properly, or any damage caused to the property, equipment, or land, will result in additional fees incurred by the booking party to cover the costs of repair or professional cleanup.

5. Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver Please read the following warning carefully. By participating in activities at Walker Ranch, you understand and expressly agree that use of the services is at your sole risk.

Under Alabama law, an agritourism professional is not liable for injury, sickness, or damage to, or the death of, a participant in an agritourism activity at this location if the injury, sickness, damage or death results from the inherent risks of the agritourism activity. Inherent risks of an agritourism activity include risks of injury, sickness, damage or death inherent to land, equipment, and animals as well as the potential act in a negligent manner that may contribute to your injury, sickness, damage or death or for another participant to act in a manner that may cause injury, sickness, damage or death. You are assuming the risk of participating in this agritourism activity.
